- Have you had the surgery?
- But how do you have sex?
- So what’s your real name?
- But you’ll always be [birth name] to me.
Seriously, I don’t care who you are, you’re not any sort of ally if you ask these sorts of questions/make that statement. If a trans* person wants you to know, they’ll volunteer the information. Putting someone in that kind of uncomfortable situation is not acceptable. It is not supportive or helpful in any way. So stop fucking asking, douche bag.
